Mayor Weinbrecht and Tiger Rock Martial Arts
One of our students, Jessica Stober, hosted a race and rainwater barrel auction this past weekend. This occasion marked the 2nd annual Run For Their Lives sponsored by the 17 year old. Mayor Weinbrecht was in attendance, and we had a chance to talk with him concerning our school and its involvement in the community. He was impressed that we give kids as young as 4 & 5 years old the oportunity to lead community projects for causes that they feel passionate about. It was nice to get such positive feedback from Weinbrecht, and there was even mention of a formal committee meeting where some of our students could be recognized. This would be a big boost to the morale of our staff and students. I can't wait to see what happens next.
