Special Olympics Of NC

Rachel Lamm is a former student who trained at Johnson's for several years earning her black belt. She and her friend Jack came out to congratulate some of the students on their fundraising efforts from the Board Break-a-thon on August 25th. It was a fantastic event, and if you are not involved already in Special Olympics, visit their website at Cary Charity. Rachel is going over the edge...ACTUALLY rappelling off of a skyscraper to raise even more funds! On the 25th, we even got to see Dr. Fawzia Salahuddin break boards with a palm heel. She is a mom, a Medical Doctor, and Instructor at Johnson's TIger-Rock. Way to Go. If you are intererested in our martial arts or fitness classes in Cary,

Coat Collection-a black belt service project

Varun and Samya Potlapalli collected coats at the academy for the needy! All coats went to the Salvation Army. Great Job Students! It is the small things, as in giving a coat, that add up to be big things when done in a cooperative and collective effort. Johnson's Martial Arts is more than a Karate School. We are a community. #CommunityService

Book Donation-a black belt service project

Abhidev Indrasanan collected books here at the academy. We may take for granted having plenty of books in our homes, however it is important to recognize that some are less fortunate. Thanks for all of the donations. #CommunityService
