May the 4th Star Wars-Themed Tournament – A Galactic Success!
The Force was strong at Johnson’s Martial Arts as we hosted our May the 4th Star Wars-Themed Tournament, bringing together students of all ages for an action-packed day of martial arts competition. With participants as young as 4 years old, the event was a fantastic showcase of skill, discipline, and respect.
Throughout the 3-hour event, students demonstrated their abilities in a variety of categories, including:
Traditional Forms
Creative Weapons Forms
Sparring
Board Breaking
Saber Battles
The tournament was a perfect example of the 5 Tenets of Taekwondo in action: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit. Judges had a blast watching their students compete and rise to the challenge, showing tremendous growth and sportsmanship.
