Soles4Souls Campaign for Haiti

Students from Johnson's TaeKwonDo Academy, Green Hope High School, and Hopewell Academy have sent 815 pairs of shoes to the torn country of Haiti this week. After hearing the news that an earthquake had devastated the country, Melissa and Bryson Johnson decided to do their part. 1,000 pounds of shoes were sent on their way. Thanks to all of our supporters. The Johnsons have also challenged the community to perform pushups or situps 4 pennies. Having young martial arts students in their academy, Bryson and Melissa try to develop their students' leadership skills through one act of community service at a time. Johnson's TaeKwonDo Academy's leadership program is founded upon the principles that there is no better way to learn leadership than by doing. This concept is called experiential leadership training, and it has been met with great success. For more information on Johnson's TaeKwonDo Academy Programs, visit http://www.tkdcary.com
