Students from Johnson's TaeKwonDo Academy, Green Hope High School, and Hopewell Academy have sent 815 pairs of shoes to the torn country of Haiti this week. After hearing the news that an earthquake had devastated the country, Melissa and Bryson Johnson decided to do their part. 1,000 pounds of shoes were sent on their way. We are currently accepting shoes and sandals at our location. We will begin putting collection boxes around the Cary area soon. Our campaign is planned to end in April 2010 with a "Walk a Mile Without Shoes Walk" for the Soles4Souls organization.
